Andaman and Nicobar Islands celebrate its tranquil environment with its 300 islands and travelers from across the globe. It is popularly known for its white sand beaches often shadowed by the palms, and the dark surroundings of the tropical rainforests.

Breif Description Of The Program : Andaman and Nicobar Islands celebrate its tranquil environment with its 300 islands and travelers from across the globe. It is popularly known for its white sand beaches often shadowed by the palms, and the dark surroundings of the tropical rainforests. The cheerful marine life which is perfect for diving and snorkeling is where all the praise comes for the union territory.
 
Day wise Schedule:
Day 1 : Check in before 1 pm at Resort. visit Cellular Jail, Fisheries Museum and Sound and Light Show. Return and night stay at Portblair.
Day 2 : Visit Baratang Island, a drive through Tribal Reserve Area. Reach Middle Straight Visit Lime Stone Cave by speed boat through the mangrove forest. Return and night stay at Portblair.
Day 3 : Visit Ross and North Bay – a place for water sports activities. Return and night stay at Portblair.
Day 4 : Visit Havelock Island. Visit Radhanagar Beach. Return and night stay at Portblair.
Day 5 : Visit City Sight Seeing. Samudrika, Mill Anthropological Museum
After lunch visit Munda Pahar and trek back to Chidiyatapu Sunset point. and Sagarika Govt Emporium for Shopping . Return and night stay at Portblair.
Day 6 : Check out after breakfast from Port Blair.
If the Batch Size is below 10 than no Group Leader will be provided to the participants.
 
Who can Participate: Any YHAI member can join this programme.
Members desirous of joining this programme may apply online duly supported by a “Trekking Medical Certificate”.
 
How To Reach The Base Camp :

By Air : Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ), also known as Port Blair Airport, is the main gateway to the Andaman Islands. You can choose a suitable Delhi to Andaman flight to reach these exotic islands. Delhi to Andaman distance by air is 2489 km. There are regular Air India flights from Delhi to Portblair as well as various other airlines also offer direct services between the two capital cities. Taxi rentals and shuttles are available at the airport in Port Blair for tourists.
By Train : For obvious reasons, tourists can’t reach directly from Delhi to Andaman Nicobar by train. Travellers can reach Kolkata or Chennai from New Delhi and then take a flight to Port Blair in the Andaman Islands.
By Road : More than 1,200 kilometres of sea parts Andaman from the mainland of India. So much for the hopes of long road trip, right? The main island of Andaman features a small network of roads connecting all major tourist attractions. Travellers can hire taxis and bikes in Port Blair to reach their destinations.

Fee Inclusions : Accommodation in double sharing, Andaman Sight Seeing, Transfer by private cab as per the capacity, All permit fees and entry fees, Transfer from Port Blair to Havelock Island by Cruise and all taxes.
Programme Exclusions : Personal Expenses (laundry & other items purchases), Air fare or Ship Fare to Port Blair, Any meals unless specified, optional or suggested activities, Usage of vehicles other than the places mentioned in the programme itinerary, Still Camera and Video camera charges and anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions.

Program Fee : 
For above 12 years of age: Rs.19000/-
For 8 years to 12 years of age: rs.14000/-
For 3 years to 7 years of age: rs.10000/-
For 1 year to 3 years of age: Participant has to pay Cruise Ticket amount.
Importtant : The Hotels are very strict with the child policy. All participants are advised to please carry the ID Proof of Children.

Food & Water Supplies : Vegetarian food will be served.
 
What participants should bring along : Cotton Shirts, Cotton Pants, bedsheet, shoes, sun-cap, raincoat, two pairs of socks, water bottle, lunch box, mug, plate, tumbler, toilet set, cream and a first-aid kit.nt/strike or natural calamity will not be considered as a cause of cancellation. Email, SMS, telephone call will not be accepted.
 
For Offline Cancellations : You cancellation request should be sent to the State Office as per the criteria.

Seat once booked may not be re-scheduled or transferred.
In case YHAI cancels the program last minute due to any unforeseen event, Participants will get a 100% refund. But in case of Participants cannot claim any travel amount they incurred.
Any unforeseen event/ strike or natural calamity/ unfit medical condition will not be considered as a cause of cancellation.
Refund may be given after completion of the programs 30 to 45 working days.
 
Safety & Security : While every care has been taken to ensure safety, the Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any theft, accident, illness and other such unforeseen eventualities.
 
Cancellation Policy :
1. In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2023. The request for cancellation or transfer or postponement must be received by us by email or any written mode before 7 days from the reporting date of your program. After that no request of transfer or refund or postponement will be considered. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of a seat and credit shell will be provided only.
2. In case the participant cancels the program from his own end, he/she is eligible for 50% monetary refund provided the participant cancels the program 21 days prior to the starting date of the program.
3. YHAI is not liable to pay any personal travelling expenses to the participants in case of any cancellation of the program.
