Breif Description Of The Program : National Individual Adventure Cum Training Camp North East India in Guwahati a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu, Kaziranga National Park which hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site.
Day wise Schedule:
Day 1 : Reporting At Guwahati,by 10.00 AM, Lunch, Evening Tea After lunch Participants proceed to Visit Kamakhya Temple and Dinner & Stay At Guwahati. (Approx 40 km)
Day 2 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Cherrapunjee, Lunch Enroute, Evening Tea, Dinner & Night Stay At Cherrapunjee( Approx 300 km)
Day 3 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Cherrapunjee Sightseeing Lunch in Route Evening Tea, Dinner & Proceed to Shillong, Stay at Shillong.. (Visit To Nohkalikai Falls,Single Living Root Bridge, Mawsynram Village, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Dawki, Mawkdok Dympep Valley) (Approx 75km)
Day 4 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Kaziranga, Lunch Enroute, Evening Tea, Bihu Dance ,Stay At Kaziranga . (Approx 310 km)
Day 5 : Early Visit to Kaziranga National Park & Elephant Safari, Back To Hotel For Breakfast, Lunch & After Lunch Proceed To Kaziranga Jeep Safari, Dinner & Stay at Kaziranga (Approx 40 km) If you want to go then you have to visit Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari.
Day 6 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Tezpur, and Sightseen Agnigarh, Cole Park), Lunch At Tezpur, Evening Tea, Dinner & Stay At Tezpur (Approx 85 km)
Day 7 : After breakfast, Proceed to Bomdila via Bhalukpong, Lunch Enroute, Arrival At Bomdila, Post evening Tea visit Bomdila Monastery, Dinner & Stay At Bomdila (Approx 170 km)
Day 8 : After Breakfast Proceed to Tawang, Lunch Enroute, Arrival At Tawang, Evening Tea, Dinner & Stay At Tawang (Enroute Visit To Sela Pass 13700Ft, Jaswant Garh) (Approx 220 km)
Day 9 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Tawang Local Sightseeing, Back To Hotel For Lunch, Evening Free For Local Visit, Evening Tea (Visit To Tawang Monastery, Tawang War Memorial, Urgelling Gompa) Dinner & Stay At Tawang (Approx 20 km)
Day 10 : After Breakfast, Proceed to Tawang Outskirt Sightseeing, (Madhuri Lake, Nuranang Falls, Gorichen Peak, P.T Tso Lake, Bumla Pass ( 15700 ft), Back To Hotel, Lunch,Evening Tea, Dinner & Stay At Hotel (Approx 50 km)
Day 11 : After Breakfast Proceed to Dirang, Lunch Enroute, Arrival At Dirang, and sight seen Evening Tea, Dinner & Stay At Dirang (Approx 178 km)
Day 12 : After Breakfast Proceed to Guwahati enroute, The Group disperses on arrival at Guwahati in the evening. (Approx 230 km)

Who can Participate: The minimum and maximum age for a YHAI member to join the program is 12 years to 70 Years, YHAI membership is mandatory to participate. This condition will be adhered to strictly.
How To Reach The Base Camp :
By Air : The nearest airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam 781015 which lies approximately 25 kilometers away from the base camp and offers daily flights from New Delhi.
By Train : Guwahati railway station is well connected by a train network. Participants may select suitable trains.

Members desirous of joining this program may apply online through our website www.yhaindia.org, or, through offline mode by sending the prescribed registration form duly supported by a Medical Certificate, along with a DD amount 39,000/- of requisite amount in favor of “Youth Hostels Association of India”, payable at New Delhi. Members can also apply through the State Branch or Local Unit of YHAI.

Safety & Security : Extensive and painstaking preparations have gone into the planning of sight seen programe for your safety. Our field staff and experienced camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all details. While every care has been taken to ensure safety, the Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities.
Smoking, Use Of Alcohol And Narcotics Of Any Description Is Strictly Prohibited During The Course Of The Program.
Cancellation Policy :
1. In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2023. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of a seat.
2. If the next programme opted by you is cheaper, you may use the balance amount in any of the Trek till Dec 2023.
3. If the next opted programme is costlier, the trekker has to pay the differential amount.
4. If the trekker opts for the same programme that was cancelled, he/she will not be charged extra even if the price goes up next year.
5. You may transfer your seat to your family members and friends also.
