Day Wise Schedule
 
🗓️ Kedarkantha Trek Itinerary
 
Day 1: Arrival at YHAI Base Camp, Kotgoan (6,400 ft) 
Kickstart your adventure in the lap of the Himalayas.
Report at the scenic YHAI Base Camp in Kotgoan. Complete your registration, settle in, and prepare for an unforgettable trekking journey.
 
Day 2: Acclimatization, Orientation & Training
Get trek-ready amidst serene surroundings.
Begin your day with a short acclimatization walk to adapt to the altitude. Participate in orientation sessions to learn about the trek route, gear essentials, altitude challenges, and safety protocols.
 
Day 3: Trek to Khujaai Camp (9,400 ft) – 5 km
Your Himalayan journey officially begins.
Embark on your first trekking day through enchanting forest trails and mountain vistas as you ascend to Khujaai Camp.
 
Day 4: Trek to Bhoja Dhadi (10,700 ft) – 4 km
Climb higher into alpine beauty.
Hike through dense pine forests and snowy patches to reach the picturesque Bhoja Dhadi campsite nestled at a higher altitude.
 
Day 5: Trek to Kedarkantha Summit (12,500 ft) & Return to Khujaai Camp – 12 km
Summit day: Reach new heights and witness breathtaking views.
Rise early for the challenging ascent to the Kedarkantha Summit. Soak in the panoramic 360° views before descending back to Khujaai Camp.
 
Day 6: Trek Back to Kotgoan Base Camp – 5 km
Retrace your steps to wrap up the journey.
Descend through the forest trails, reaching back to Kotgoan Base Camp for a warm welcome and a sense of accomplishment.
 
Day 7: Check-Out After Breakfast
Farewell with a heart full of memories.
Enjoy your final breakfast at base camp before bidding goodbye to the mountains and fellow trekkers. Depart with memories of a lifetime.

Facts
 
🥶 Important Gear Alert! 
In case of hard snow at the summit due to freezing temperatures, participants must carry gaiters, microspikes & trekking poles 🥾❄️. Don’t worry — you can rent them at the base camp market if needed!
 
👣 Who Can Join? 
YHAI Members aged 18 to 60 years only! ✅ Trekking Medical Certificate is mandatory. No exceptions for underage or overage participants.

Online Booking: 
1.	Members who wish to join this exciting adventure can register online through our official website:  www.yhaindia.org
2.	 by paying the program fee. 
 
💳 Accepted Payment Modes: 
We accept UPI, Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards for all online bookings, ensuring a secure and seamless transaction process.
 
📄 Post-Booking Requirements: 
Upon successful payment, an Admit Card will be automatically generated. Participants are required to carry the following documents at the time of reporting to the Base Camp:
1.	✅ Printed Admit Card
2.	✅ Original Trekking Medical Certificate (issued within 30 days)
3.	✅ Valid YHAI Membership Card (printout acceptable)
4.	✅ Two recent passport-size photographs
Ensure all documents are ready for verification to avoid inconvenience at the base camp.

Members who wish to register offline for the program can do so by submitting the following:

1.	Trekking Medical Certificate (must be issued within the last 30 days)
2.	Indemnity Bond (mandatory for participants above 60 years or below 18 years)

Cancellation Policy
 
📅 Cancellation Method: 
 
1️⃣ Online bookings: Cancel online at least 10 days before reporting.
2️⃣ Offline bookings: Email cancellation to  trekking@yhaindia.org  10 days before reporting.
❗ Only cancellations following the above method are eligible for credit shell/refund.  If within 10 days of reporting, no credit/refund.
 
💳 Cancellation Policy: 
 
 (a) Credit Shell: 
🔄 If you can’t join, get a 100% Credit Shell valid till Dec 2026. 
💸 If the next trek is cheaper, use the balance for any trek till Dec 2026. 
📈 If the next trek is more expensive, pay the difference.
❌ Once booked with Credit Shell, it can’t be canceled again. 
🔁 You can transfer your seat to family/friends, but can’t re-transfer or cancel.
🧗 Credit Shell can only be used for YHAI adventure programs  (not memberships/hostel bookings).
 
OR
 
 (b) Refund: 
 
💵 You can opt for a 50% refund instead of 100% credit shell.
⏳ Must cancel at least 10 days before reporting. No refund if less than 10 days.
 
⚠️ Important Note: 
 
If the program is canceled due to Natural Calamities, Government Restrictions, or Permission Issues,  YHAI is only responsible for the program fees. Other expenses are non-refundable.
