YHAI has been organizing affordable adventure programs for over 50 years, bringing together people from all walks of life.
 
🎉 Launched as part of the Silver Jubilee of YHAI National Trekking in 1995, the Family Camping Program offers a unique outdoor experience for families.
 
📍 Location: Kullu, Himachal Pradesh
🏞️ Base Camp Altitude:  ~4,000 ft
🕐 Duration:  4 Nights / 5 Days
💰 Fee:  ₹8,500 per person
🛑 Check-out:  On Day 5 after breakfast

🚍 How to Reach Base Camp: 
 
1.	By Road:  Regular buses from Delhi, Chandigarh & Punjab to Kullu.
2.	By Train:  Nearest stations – Ambala & Chandigarh
3.	By Air:  Nearest airport – Bhuntar
4.	🚌 All buses to Manali pass through Seobagh  (Base Camp). 
 
👨👩👧👦 Who Can Join? 
 
1.	Any YHAI member family (Husband + Wife + 2 kids ≤12 yrs)
2.	📸 Attach Photo of Family Head & Kids’ age proof
3.	🧒 3rd child & kids >12 yrs:  Extra ₹1,000 per head
4.	🚫 Single participants not allowed
5.	🩺 Parents with infants must bring baby feeding supplies
6.	🪪 ID Proof of Head is mandatory at registration

1.	❌ No schedule deviation or outside stay during the program
2.	🌿 Eco-friendly camp – No littering. Dump waste at base camp
3.	🚿 No washing of clothes at the camp
4.	🔥 No wood burning
5.	🚭 No smoking, alcohol, or drugs
6.	⚖️ YHAI is not liable for personal accidents or incidents

Bring the following documents – no entry without these: 
 
1.	✅ Original Trekking Medical Certificate (issued within 30 days, signed by Allopathic MBBS/MD with stamp & reg. no.)
2.	🪪 Admit Card
3.	🪪 YHAI Membership Card
4.	🖼️ 2 Passport-size Photos
5.	🆔 2 Xerox Copies of ID Proof
 
⚠️ No participation will be allowed without the above documents. 
 
📢 Important Guidelines for Participants: 
 
1.	🚷 Stick to the schedule – No personal deviations allowed during the camp.
2.	🏕️ Stay only at YHAI Camp – No outside accommodation permitted.
3.	🌱 Eco-Friendly Camp –
4.	Do not litter – carry waste to base camp & dispose properly.
5.	❌ Washing clothes at camp is not allowed
6.	🔥 No burning of wood for campfire
7.	🛍️ Carrying non-biodegradable items is a punishable offense in Himachal Pradesh
8.	🚭 Strictly Prohibited:

1.	✔️ All routes and logistics are well-researched & pre-checked by field staff.
2.	🔐 YHAI ensures safety but is not liable for accidents, illness, or unforeseen events.
3.	🧍♂️ If you wish to join other activities, do so only after check-out and at your own risk & cost.

Cancellation Policy
 
📜 Cancellation (10+ Days in Advance): 
 (A) 🪙 100% Credit Shell
✅ Valid till Dec 2025
✅ Usable for any YHAI adventure program
🔁 Transferable to family/friends (non-refundable & non-transferable again)
💰 If next trek costs more, pay the difference. If cheaper, balance stays in shell.
🚫 Cannot be used for memberships or hostel bookings.
🚫 Once booked using credit shell, cannot cancel again. 
 
OR
 
 (B) 💸 50% Refund
 
🗓️ Same rule: Request must be made 10+ days before reporting.
❌ No refund if the request is late.
 
🌧️ In Case of Program Cancellation (Force Majeure): 
If the program is cancelled due to:
1.	🌪️ Natural disasters
2.	🏛️ Govt. restrictions
3.	❌ Permission withdrawal, etc.
 
👉 YHAI is responsible only for the program fee. 
📌 No compensation for travel or personal expenses.
🧾 Final decision on refunds lies with YHAI and will be binding.
