  1. Apply at www.yhaindia.org, pay the fee via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card 💳
  2. After payment, Admit Card will be generated. Bring it along with Trekking Medical Certificate and Membership Card (temporary card accepted) to the Base Camp 🏕️

Day Wise Schedule

Day 01: Reporting and Acclimatization

  1. Morning: Arrive in Leh, check-in, and complete documentation.
  2. Afternoon: Rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.
  3. Evening: Orientation session to brief participants on the journey, safety guidelines, and motorbike handling.

Day 02: Local Sightseeing Ride (Approx. 80 KM)

  1. Morning: Allotment of motorbikes and a briefing about the day’s ride.
  2. Destinations:
  3. Sangam: The confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
  4. Magnetic Hill: A place where gravity seems to defy the natural laws.
  5. Pathar Sahib Gurudwara: A revered spiritual site with a rich history.
  6. Spituk Monastery: A stunning monastery offering panoramic views.
  7. Hall of Fame: A museum dedicated to honoring the bravery of the Indian Army.

Day 03: Leh to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (Approx. 180 KM)

  1. Morning: Start the ride early and ascend to Changla Pass (17,688 ft).
  2. Lunch: Hot lunch at Thangtse village.
  3. Afternoon: Visit the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, known for its ever-changing shades of blue.
  4. Evening: Return to Thangtse for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Thangtse to Nubra Valley via Shyok River (Approx. 140 KM)

  1. Morning: Ride through breathtaking landscapes alongside the Shyok River.
  2. Afternoon: Arrive at Nubra Valley and visit Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and Bactrian camels.
  3. Optional Activities: Enjoy camel rides, ATV rides, and other activities at Hunder (additional cost).
  4. Evening: Explore the dunes and enjoy a peaceful evening.
  5. Overnight Stay: At Nubra Valley in Hunder.

Day 05: Nubra Valley to Leh via Khardungla Pass (Approx. 130 KM)

  1. Morning: Visit Diskit Monastery, home to the iconic Buddha statue and offering breathtaking views of the valley.
  2. Ride: Ascend to Khardungla Pass (17,982 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
  3. Afternoon: Descend and return to Leh.
  4. Evening: Relax and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 06: Departure

  1. Morning: Checkout after breakfast.
  2. End of Expedition.

  3. Route 2: From Manali (474 km) via Keylong, Baralacha, Tanglangla, Upsi. 🚌
  4. By Air: Daily flights to Leh from Delhi, Jammu, and Srinagar. ✈️
  5. By Train: Nearest stations are Jammu, Pathankot, and Chandigarh (approx. 3 days travel). 🚆
  6. Note: No prepaid mobile services in Leh; postpaid services (Airtel, BSNL) work. 📱

Important Notes 📋:

  2. Deviation from Schedule: Any extra activities are at your own risk and responsibility after the official program ends.
  3. Staying Outside YHAI Camp: Not allowed during the program. 🚫

Environment-Friendly Policy 🌱:

  2. No burning wood for campfires; carrying non-biodegradable materials is an offense. 🚫🔥

Cancellation Policy

✅ Cancellation Method:

1️⃣ Participants booked online will do online cancellation minimum 10 days prior to your reporting date.

2️⃣ Participants booked offline will inform their cancellation by email to 📧 trekking@yhaindia.org minimum 10 days prior to your reporting date.

⚠️ Only cancellation done as per above method will be eligible for credit shell/refund. The below cancellation policy will however not be applicable if the request reaches short of 10 days prior to the reporting date and shall not be eligible for credit shell/refund.

📜 Cancellation Policy:

The Participant, who cancels the programme by serving request minimum 10 days prior to his/her reporting date as per above terms and conditions of “Cancellation Method”, is eligible to get the credit shell or refund as follows:

(a) Credit Shell:-

✔️ In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till 31st December 2026.

✔️ If the next programme opted by you is cheaper, you may use the balance amount in any of the Trek till Dec 2026.

✔️ If the next opted programme is costlier, the trekker has to pay the differential amount.

⛔ Program opted using the Credit Shell cannot be cancelled again.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You may transfer your seat to your family members and friends also. The seats thus transferred cannot be retransferred or cancelled.

🎯 The credit shell can only be used in booking of adventure programs organised by YHAI. The credit shell will not be used in taking memberships and hostel bookings.

OR

(b) Refund:-

💵 Participants can opt for a 50% refund instead of 100% credit shell if they wish to. The conditions of “Cancellation Method” will be the same as mentioned above. The participant has to inform either offline or online minimum 10 days prior to his reporting date. If the request reaches short of 10 days prior to the reporting date the refund request shall not be considered.

📝 Note: If any program will be cancelled due to 🌪️ Natural Calamity / 🏛️ Government Restriction / ❌ Cancellation of Permission or any other reasons, YHAI will be accountable only for program fees and not other expenses which participants have made for joining the program. In these circumstances the decision for participation fees will be considered by the YHAI and will be bound to all.
