Day 1 – 27/11/2025 (Arrival at Guwahati)
 
1. Receive participants at Guwahati
2. Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple & Umananda Temple
3. Lunch at an Assamese local restaurant
4. Visit Sualkuchi Village – known for Muga & Eri silk textiles
5. Optional: Evening 1-hour Brahmaputra River Cruise
6. Check-in at hotel for overnight stay
 
Day 2 – 28/11/2025 (Guwahati to Kaziranga national park)
 
1. Depart to Kaziranga National Park
2. Visit local tea gardens
3. Attend cultural program in the evening
 
Day 3 – 29/11/2025 (Kaziranga Safari Day)
 
1. Early morning Elephant Ride (5:30 AM – 6:30 AM or 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
2. Jeep Safari (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
3. Lunch with traditional Assamese cuisine at local home/hotel
 
Day 4 – 30/11/2025 (Kaziranga to Kohima)
 
1. Drive to Kohima via Dimapur (lunch en route)
2. Evening at leisure in Kohima
 
Day 5 – 01/12/2025 (Hornbill Festival & Khonoma)

2. Visit World War II Cemetery
3. Attend Hornbill Festival (includes cultural program by 17 tribes)
4. Lunch at Hornbill Festival – enjoy local rice beer
5. Afternoon excursion to Khonoma Village (Angami tribe heritage)

Shirts, Slacks, Raincoat, Woolen sweaters or Jackets, Inners, Sun Cap, Trekking, Shoes, Socks, Gloves, Needle, Thread, Spare buttons, Goggles, Cold Cream/Vaseline, Soap, Toilet, Paper, Tissues, Towel, Medicines (which are normally used at home), MOST, IMPORTANTLYAADHAR CARD, YHAI MEMBERSHIP CARD (soft copy will do) and Medical certificated not issue before 30 Days.
 
Submission of Medical Certificate, Trekking Registration Form and Declaration-cum-Undertaking are compulsory.

1. Extensive preparations have been made for participant safety, with local guides inspecting the area.
2. However, Youth Hostels Association of India is not responsible for accidents, illnesses, or unforeseen events.
3. Strict Rules: Smoking, alcohol, and narcotics are strictly prohibited during the program.
