Here are the important tourist places in and around Visakhapatnam: Beaches : R.K. Beach (Ramakrishna Beach), Rushikonda Beach,Yarada Beach, Bheemili Beach. Historic town with colonial ruins. Nature & Scenic Spots: Kailasagiri Hill Park, Simhachalam Temple, Borra Caves (90 km from Vizag), Araku Valley (120 km from Vizag), Katiki Waterfalls.Museums & Historical Sites: Submarine Museum (INS Kurusura), TU-142 Aircraft Museum, Visakha Museum, Victory at Sea War Memorial Other Attractions :Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Dolphin’s Nose, Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary, Thotlakonda & Bavikonda Buddhist Sites. Day Wise Schedule
DAY1: Report at the Lodge, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam- latest by 10.00 am : Training, Orientation& Instructions. After lunch, by A/c bus Local visit to Simhachalam, Venkatewara Temple, Kailasagiri, Beach Road, museums, other important places, stride in the beach. Dinner and night halt.
DAY2: Vacate the Lodge by 6.00am-proceed to Shri Mukhalingam, Century old temple, after lunch to Chilika, Odisha, put up in a Lodge, local visit by stroll. Dinner & rest.
DAY3: Bed Tea -6.00am reach Boat point at the beach, cruise for 3 hrs in Chilika lake, visit Kalijai Temple in the is-land. 11.00am vacate Lodge, journey to Puri, Odisha, lunch on the way. 4.00pm reach Puri put up in Lodge, Darshan of shrines, local stroll. Dinner & rest.
DAY4: free time to visit Temple, Breakfast at 6.30am, Vacate rooms and proceed to Konark, Odisha, 11.00am return journey to Vizag via Telineelapuram, noted migratory bird sanctuary. Dinner, rest.
DAY5 : Breakfast, feedback, certificates distribution. – Camp concludes.

SAFETY & SECURITY: Extensive and pain taking preparation has gone into the planning of the journey route. Our experienced field staff and camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all the details. While every care has been taken to ensure your safety &health, the YHAI, AP State Branch cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities.

CANCELLATION RULES: In case you are unable to join the Expedition after paying the participation fee, you will get Rs.5, 450/- as refund of participation fee, provided your request is received directly to the Secretary, AP State branch-YHAI, by email, 15 days before the date of reporting. Whatsapp messages, mobile messages, oral conversations will not be entertained. May please note that there is no credit shell.
