Breif Description Of The Program: National Individual Adventure Cum Training Camp North East India in Guwahati a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu, Kaziranga National Parkwhich hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site.

 

Day Wise Schedule:
Day 1 : Reporting At Guwahati And Night Stay And If Participants Wants To Visit Kamakhya Temple And Guwahati Sight Seen They Can Visit.
Day 2 : Proceed To Kaziranga Forest Night Stay Bihu Dance
Day 3 : Proceed To Kaziranga Sight Seen & Night Stay
Day 4 : Proceed To Bomdila And Night Stay Via Tejpur, Bhalukpong.
Day 5 : Proceed To Tawang And Night Stay.
Day 6 : Tawang Outskirt Sightseeing
Day 7 : Tawang Local Sightseeing And Night Stay
Day 8 : Proceed To Bomdila And Night Stay
Day 9 : Proceed To Tejpur And Night Stay And Sight Seen Via Bhalukpong
Day 10 : Proceed To Cherrapunjee And Night Stay At Cherrapunjee
Day 11 : After Breakfast Cherrapunjee Sightseeing And Proceed To Shillong Stay At Shillong
Day 12 : After Breakfast Proceed To Guwahati Via Shillong Sightseeing, Arrival At Guwahati In Afternoon & Disperse

How To Reach The Base Camp:
BY Train: Ghuwahati railway station is well connected by Train network. Participants may select suitable trains.
By Air: The nearest airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam which lies approximately 25kms away from base camp and offers daily flights from New Delhi.

 

How To Join: Members desirous of joining this program may apply online through our website www.yhaindia.org, or, through offline mode by sending the prescribed registration form duly supported by a Medical Certificate, along with a DD amount 34,000/- of requisite amount in favor of “YouthHostels Association of India”, payable at New Delhi. Members can also apply through the State Branch or Local Unit of YHAI.

Cancellation: In case you are unable to join this trip you will get 50% of the program fee as refund, provided your request reaches YHAI before 21 days of the Reporting Date. Click this link to submit your Cancellation: http://www.yhaindia.org/program-cancellation.php
Offline booking request for cancellation and refund may be sent through email at trekking@yhaindia.org. Please attach the copy of your Admit Card in your cancellation request email.
Seat once booked may not be re-scheduled or transferred.
There is no refund applicable for the all the program bookings done after 20th March 2021.
Any unforeseen event/ strike or natural calamity/ unfit medical condition will not be considered as a cause of cancellation.
Refund may be given after completion of the programs 30 to 45 working days.
