Char Dham refers to four sacred sites:
1οΈβ£ Yamunotri – Goddess Yamuna
2οΈβ£ Gangotri – Goddess Ganga
3οΈβ£ Kedarnath – Lord Shiva (Northernmost Jyotirlinga)
4οΈβ£ Badrinath – Lord Vishnu (where Vishnu meditated)

How to Join Char Dham Yatra:

2. Payment options: Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card
3. After payment, an Admit Card will be generated.
4. Carry Admit Card, 2 passport-sized photos, & ID proof when reporting. ππ³π
Day Wise Schedule
DAY 1 Reporting at 3:00 PM (RISHIKESH)
Address: Bharat Mandir Dharamshala, Mayakund, Chandreshwari Road, Opp Nirmal Ashram Hospital, Rishikesh.
After HI Tea Orientation & Training about Char Dham Yatra at 4:00 pm and after that participants can join the famous Ganga Aarti at triveni ghat in the evening.
DAY 2 Travel from Rishikesh to Barkot (178 km Approx 8-9 hrs)
Day 3 After breakfast and packed lunch, travel from Barkot to Janki Chatti (45 KM 1-2 hrs) by bus.
Trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri Temple and Return Janki Chatti (up and down 12 KM).
Travel from Janki chatti to Barkot and after taking evening tea move towards Uttarkashi. Dinner and night stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4 After breakfast, travel from Uttarkashi to Gangotri Temple (99 KM Approx 6 – 7 hrs).
Visit Temple and nearby places and return back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and night stay.
DAY 5 After breakfast, travel from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (213 KM Approx 10 – 11 hrs).
Dinner and night stay in Guptkashi.
DAY 6 After breakfast and Packed Lunch, travel from Guptkashi to Gaurikund (30 KM 1 – 2 hrs)
Trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath ( 16 KM ) Visit Kedarnath Temple and nearby Places.
Night stay and Dinner in Kedarnath.
DAY 7 After breakfast, trek( 16 KM ) from Kedarnath to Gaurikund.
Travel (30 km 1 – 2 hrs ) from Gaurikund to Guptkashi. Dinner and night stay at Guptkashi.
DAY 8 After breakfast, travel from Guptkashi to Badrinath Temple (196 KM approx 9 – 10 hrs)
Dinner and Night Stay at Badrinath Youth Hostel.
DAY 9 After breakfast, Visit to Mana village
The First village of India was declared by Govt. of India and explore Badrinath and return back to Badrinath Youth Hostel. Dinner and Night Stay at Badrinath Youth Hostel.
DAY 10 After breakfast from Badrinath to Rishikesh by bus.
On the way you can see panch prayag (1-Vishnuprayag, 2-Nandprayag,3- Karnprayag,4-Rudraprayag and 5- Devprayag) After completing Char Dham Yatra you will be awarded by certificate of completion.
DAY 11 Checkout after breakfast 10:00 A.M.

1. Our staff ensures your safety, but YHAI is not liable for accidents or illnesses.
2. Follow COVID-19 guidelines (mask, social distancing).
π« Important Notes:
1. No smoking, alcohol, or narcotics allowed.
2. Vegetarian meals will be provided.
3. Accommodation is in dormitories or shared rooms.
4. Stay must be within YHAI accommodation for the program duration.
5. Follow an environment-friendly approach β donβt litter.
6. Burning wood and carrying non-biodegradable materials is prohibited.
7. Separate accommodation for males & females.

3. COVID-19 Medical Certificate required.
4. Behavior: Maintain a friendly attitude. Misbehavior may result in removal from the program.
π§³ Important Guidelines for Char Dham Yatra:
1. Asymptomatic travelers donβt need a COVID-19 negative report, but symptomatic ones must get tested.
2. E-pass is for Temple visit only. No sightseeing or trekking allowed.
3. Follow COVID-19 advisories and maintain hygiene (sanitize, wash hands).
4. Elderly (60+) & children (under 10) should avoid temple visits.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Method:
1οΈβ£ Online bookings: Cancel online at least 10 days before your reporting date.
2οΈβ£ Offline bookings: Email cancellation to trekking@yhaindia.org at least 10 days prior.
Note: Cancellation requests made less than 10 days before the reporting date won’t be eligible for a refund/credit shell.
Cancellation Policy:
(a) Credit Shell:
1. 100% credit valid until Dec 2025 if cancelled on time.
2. If your next program is cheaper, use the balance till Dec 2025.
3. For a more expensive program, pay the difference.
4. Credit Shell cannot be cancelled again.
5. Can transfer to family/friends, but no re-transfer.
6. Only valid for YHAI adventure programs.
OR
(b) Refund:
1. 50% refund if you prefer instead of the credit shell.
2. Must inform 10 days before reporting for a refund.
Note: If a program is canceled due to Natural Calamities/Govt. Restrictions, only program fees will be refunded. Other expenses wonβt be covered.
