BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

An ideal Himalayan trek for beginners and families
The Mukta Top is one of the crowning glories of the Garhwal Himalayas. From such a height, Mukta Top offers visitors uninterrupted views of the surrounding snow-covered peaks that appear to pierce through the azure sky. And this exquisite gem of a spot can be reached by a trek. The base camp of this trek is at Kaflon (Kuflon).

The Mukta Top Trek is unique for reasons more than one. To begin with, unlike many treks in the state, this one starts from a comparatively lower altitude, allowing trekkers to experience varied shades of Himalayan forests. Furthermore, trekkers come across plenty of bamboo forests, something not often witnessed on other treks. With an increase in elevation, the trek route begins to line up with maple, ancient oak, rhododendron and pine trees. The most exciting aspect of this particular trek is that Mukta Top has small clearings

This trek is a perfect alternative to crowded winter treks and is offering solitude, raw beauty, and authentic Himalayan Village Experiences.

🌿 Flora, Fauna & Local Notes

1. Vegetation along the route includes pine, oak, rhododendron, deodar and seasonal alpine meadows with wildflowers (spring–summer). Birdlife is common; sightings of Himalayan small mammals are possible.
2. Cultural note: Kuflon and nearby villages have traditional Garhwal/Bhotiya influences; local hospitality and simple mountain-village life are highlights.
