Breif Description Of The Program : The Biking route will cover picturesque beaches, villages, Hillsides greenery around coastal route of Maharashtra. Participants will enjoy Coastal Route traversing through scenic seaside villages with endless stretches overlooking the sea. Ride on the sea with your Bikes loaded on a ferry and feel the sea breeze showering you with salted kisses. The coastal route is worth an experience. From roads running parallel to beaches to ferry crossings to an ever-changing landscape — that, at every 50 km, shifts from high cliffs to beach-side drives to isolated hilltops barren with red laterite soil — the coastal Maharashtra bike trip has all highlights. For an intrepid, there is more to explore on this route than just the scenic beauty. This including a 16th-century Jaigad Fort, a 17th-century Ganesh Idol at Ganpati Pule, adventure water sports at Tarkarli, many flourishing Konkan villages, strange regional delicacies, and much much more.

Day 1 : Reporting at the Base camp – ALIBAG
Day 2 : Alibag to Dive Agar [77 Kms]
Day 3 : Dive Agar to Anjarle [70 Kms]
Day 4 : Anjarle to Guhagar [70 Kms]
Day 5 : Guhagar to Ganpatipule [55 Kms]
Day 6 : Ganpatipule to Adivare [61 kms]
Day 7 : Adivare to Kunkeshwar [68 kms]
Day 8 : Kunkeshwar to Malvan [44 kms]
Day 9 : Malvan to Shiroda [61 kms]
Day 10 : Shiroda To Panjim [54 kms]
Day 11 : Checkout post breakfast

Who can Participate: only experienced bikers can join
 
How To Reach The Base Camp : The base camp is located at Alibaug beach. This place can be reached from Mumbai by road.
 
How To Join : Members desirous of joining the programme may apply on a prescribed Registration Form duly supported by a Medical Certificate, which is attached with the form. Photocopies of the forms are acceptable. The minimum age for participation is 12. Form should be sent along with draft of participation fee. Member may also register through online booking.
 
Accommodation Facilities : Accommodation in Guest House/Hotels and tents
Food & Water Supplies : Morning tea, breakfast, lunch / packed lunch, evening tea and Dinner shall be provided. Simple vegetarian, good quality nutritious food shall be served at the camp. Please bring your own plates, mugs, spoons, tiffin box for pack lunch etc.
 
What participants should bring along : Day pack, T-shirts and shorts, cycling dress with accessories, if required, sun cap, Sports shoes, min 2 pairs of socks, water bottle, lunch box, mug, plate, spoon, sun glasses, soap, towel, medicines (which you normally use at home).
 
Safety & Security : Extensive and painstaking preparation has gone into the planning of trek routes for your safety. Our field staff and experienced camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all details. The Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any accidents, illness and any such unforeseen eventualities. Deviation from the set route of the program is not permitted. If the participant desires to join any other activity, they may do so at their own responsibility and risk only after finishing the trek and checking out. YHAI group insurance cover is for accidental death or permanent disability only. You are advised to take insurance cover for your journey and other related matters.
 
Cancellation Policy :
1) In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason or if YHAI cancels the program due to unavoidable circumstance, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2023. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of seat.
2) If the next programme opted by you is cheaper, you may use the balance amount in any of the programme till Dec 2023.
3) If the next opted programme is costlier, the trekker has to pay the differential amount.
4) If the trekker opts for the same programme that was cancelled, he/she will not be charged extra even if the price goes up next year.
5) You may transfer your seat to your family members and friends, but transferring the seat option can be applied only once. The differential amount of the program fee will be borne by the new participant.
6) For obtaining the credit shell, the cancellation procedure will have to be completed 10 days before the date of reporting.
