FEE INCLUSIONS:
 
Transportation (from Reporting point to Dispersal point), Accommodation (Hotels/Camp on double/twin sharing basis), Meals (Veg.)Monuments Entry Fees (mentioned in the itinerary) and Group Leader.

  2. Any activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
  3. Camera/video charges at monuments, if applicable.
  4. Boating charges/any activities at Nakki Lake or anywhere.
  5. Travel expenses upto reporting point at Jodhpur and return from Mount Abu.

SAFETY & SECURITY:
 
Trained/expert camp leaders will be available for guidance. Medicines will be available in the camp. First aid/ basic medical assistance shall be provided. While every care has been taken to ensure safety, The Youth Hostels Association of India, Delhi State Branch will not be responsible for any accidents, illness and any such unforeseen eventualities.
 
Special Casual leave:
 
The Trekking Expedition organized by Youth Hostels Association of India have the approval of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Dept. of Personnel and Training), Government of India, vide Office Order no. 28016/3/89-Estt (A), Dated 25 October, 1989. Participants working in the Central Govt. Organization can apply to the authorities concerned for availing special casual leave for the duration of the expedition. This leave can be sanctioned by their office up to 30 days in calendar year.
 
Certificates:
 
Participants, who successfully complete the trek and abide by the discipline of the program, will be awarded certificates.
 
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
 
1. Smoking, use of alcohol and narcotics of any description is strictly prohibited during the course of the program.

2. Deviation from the set route of the program is not permitted. If participants may wish to join any other activity, they may do so at their own responsibility and risk only after finishing the program and checking out.

3. Stay other than YHAI Camp is not allowed for the entire duration of the camp.

4. This is an environment friendly trek. Do no litter any wrappers or spoil the trial in any way. In case you find any wrapper, plastic bag or anything left by trekkers on the way, please carry the same with you and deposit at the next camp.

5. Burning of woods during camp fire is strictly prohibited.

6. Medical Certificate is compulsory; you have to summit Medical Certificate at the time of reporting.

If found flouting the rules, your participation will be terminated with immediate effect.

 

Day Wise Schedule
 

BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

Day 1 – Arrival in Jodhpur: Reporting at Jodhpur (Hotel/Camp) after 11.00 AM. After lunch and briefing, visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, followed by exploration of the bustling Clock Tower and Sardar Market, which offer a glimpse into local life and handicrafts. Overnight stay will be at Jodhpur.

Lunch (Upto 02.00 PM) | Dinner

Day 2 – Jodhpur Heritage Tour: After breakfast, embark on a heritage tour of Jodhpur. Begin with the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, housing a rich museum collection. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Later, visit Mandore Gardens, known for its historic temples, memorials, and lush greenery. Overnight stay will be at Jodhpur.

Day 3 – Transfer from Jodhpur to Mount Abu: After breakfast and check‑out, drive to Mount Abu, on arrival, check‑in at the hotel and rest. In the evening, visit Nakki Lake for boating and enjoy the scenic surroundings, including the famous Toad Rock formation. Overnight stay will be at Mount Abu.

Day 4 – Mount Abu City Tour and trek to Sun Set Point: After breakfast, proceed for a full‑day sightseeing tour of Mount Abu. Visit the renowned Dilwara Jain Temples, celebrated for their exquisite marble carvings. Continue to Peace Park, a serene retreat maintained by the Brahma Kumaris. Later, drive/Trek to Guru Shikhar Peak, the highest point of the Aravalli Range, offering panoramic views. In the evening, Trek to Sun set Point for spectacular view and explore the historic Achalgarh Fort. Overnight stay will be at Mount Abu.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
 
This expedition is open to Central Government Civil Employees and YHAI Members only.Required Documents at the time of reporting:

1. Medical Certificate (original copy): A Trekking Medical Certificate is mandatory at the time of reporting. It should be signed by a registered Medical Practitioner and include their registration number and stamp.

2. Copy of YHAI Membership Card/ Office Identity Card (Central Government Civil Employees)

3. Copy of Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card)

5. Two passport size photographs

Cancellation Policy

 
CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Cancellation by the participants: In case of cancellation, requests received 10 days or prior to the reporting date will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the programme fee. Cancellations made within 10 days of the reporting date will not be entitled to any refund.
  2. Cancellation by the organization: In case the cancellation due to natural calamity, government restrictions, cancellation of permissions, or any other unforeseen circumstances, YHAI will be accountable only for the program fees. Other expenses incurred by participants for joining the program will not be covered. In such situations, the decision regarding the refund of participation fees will be made by YHAI and will be final and binding on all participants.
