Itinerary

Ratanmahal Wildlife Sanctuary is situated about 190 km from Ahmedabad, on the Gujarat–Madhya Pradesh border. Spread across 55.65 sq km of rugged hills and dry deciduous forests, the sanctuary forms an important part of the Vindhyan hill ecosystem. The forest is dominated by teak, timru, sadad, bandaro and other native tree species, supporting rich biodiversity. Ratanmahal is best known for having Gujarat’s highest population of sloth bears, making it one of the state’s most significant habitats for the species. Other important wildlife includes leopards, nilgai, four-horned antelope (chousingha), striped hyena, wild boar, Indian giant squirrel, civets and numerous reptiles. The sanctuary is also home to a rich variety of birdlife, including Indian peafowl, grey junglefowl, red spurfowl and grey francolin, making it an attractive destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

CAMP FEES : Rs. 2,000/- per participant

CANCELLATION : 50% of camp fees will be refunded if cancelled before 12 August, . Thereafter no refund.
YOU SHOULD BRING: Strong Walking / Trekking Shoes, Umbrella or Poncho, Sun-Cap, Water Bottle, Personal Medicines, Mosquito repellant Cream, Pen, Diary, Binoculars, Sleeping Bag / Blanket, Mug / Glass, Torch. Dull Coloured Clothes. DO NOT CARRY DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS, Strong perfumes.
