BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

Malarikkal Ambal Vasantham (The Water Lily Bloom):- This is the “hidden gem” of the itinerary. Malarikkal is a small village in Kottayam where hundreds of acres of paddy fields transform into a sea of pink water lilies (Ambal). Alleppey is famous for houseboats, starting from Kumarakom offers a quieter, more upscale entrance to Vembanad Lake, the largest lake in Kerala. This program combines a houseboat trip in Vembanad Lake, Malarikkal Ambal Vasantham, and the natural beauty of Kuttanad. It also includes Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Kumarakom houseboat, Malarikkal Country Boat Trips, and Pathiramanal Island Visit.

5.00 PM Visit : Mullakkal Bhagavathy Temple Darsan Alappuzha

Mullakkal temple, also known as Mullakkal Rajarajeswari temple or Mullakkal Bhagawathi temple is situated in the land of backwaters, Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is built in a grand Kerala style. Goddess Durga is the main deity. The other deities of the temple include Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Lord Ayyappa, Nagaraja, and the Navagraha [the nine planets]. The temple is believed to be almost 500 years old.

11.00 AM to 5.00 PM “See Kuttanad”

This is the one of the best package from Kerala Government State Water Transport Department to explore the entire villages of Kuttanad. Boat service will cover the following places Punnamada, Vembanad Lake, Pathiramanal Island, Kumarakam, Kuttanad , R Block, Chithira, Raani, Marthandam, C Block , Kuppuram.

7.30 PM Return to Base Camp Karmasadhan Alappuzha

Day 4 (04.09. 2026) 4.30 AM Transfer to Malarikkal Water lilly Area (40 KMs By Bus 1.30 Hrs)

6.30 AM to 9.30 AM :- The Malarikkal water lily boat ride is a seasonal experience, dependent on the monsoon rains that flood the paddy fields with 4–5 feet of water. Once the fields are filled, thousands of pink water lilies bloom, transforming the area into a surreal floral landscape. Uninterrupted views of endless pink water lilies floating on dark green leaves, perfect for stunning photographs.

10.00 AM to 11 30 AM Visit Kumarakam Bird Sanctuary

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary:- Nestled along the banks of Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a paradise for bird lovers, especially during migratory seasons. You can spot rare species like Siberian storks, herons, and egrets as you walk along peaceful forested trails.
